Control Valve

Control Valves

  • Control valves are used in power plants for regulating processes
  • They may regulate mass flow, pressure, or temperature
  • Regulated media include steam, water and natural gases
Control valves and pressure-reducing valves build the backbone of BOMAFA’s product range. Depending on the specific application, they are designed and manufactured as:

  • condensate control valves
  • injection control valves
  • injection valves
  • minimum flow valves
  • circulation control valves

By ensuring that the valve’s shape and interior fittings exactly meet our customers’ requirements, BOMAFA’s control and pressure-reducing valves are ideally suited to the specific demands of their application. Standardizing the construction of the valves’ body (straight-run, angle-type or Z-shaped designs) has enabled us to boost the technical and economic efficiency of these valves.

Moreover, our partnership with asfa-Antriebssysteme GmbH, which designs and manufactures actuators, guarantees optimal design of the pneumatic, hydraulic and multi-turn actuators for our control valves.

Other Advantages

  • long service life
  • low-noise and low-vibration operation
  • the easily accessible inner parts enable cost-efficient servicing
  • cavitation is avoided by the careful design of the various pressure stages
  • the design can be optionally modified to allow for operation with different directions of flow (flow to open or flow to close).
