Automatic Pump Protection Valve

Automatic pump protection valves are used to protect pumps from cavitation and over-heating and to guarantee a minimal rate of flow.
When only a small amount of medium is needed for a process, the additional medium necessary to meet the pump’s minimal through-flow requirement is by-passed out of the pipeline and fed back to the pump.

The bypass is immediately opened automatically as soon as a critical rate of flow is reached. BOMAFA automatic pump protection valves are particularly well-designed. Their modular construction allows for quick and task-focussed replacement of interior components. Components used are hard-wearing and ensure the valve’s durability.
