The repair in the power plant comprises the dismantling, the insertion of spare parts, the refacing of the seating faces at seat and plug and the reassembling. very damaged valve seats can be newly hard-cladded in the power plant with suitable stellite-electrons. the old armouring is removed with respective aids; a new stellite coating is placed and then the seat is put into its original form. This kind of repair is particularly worthwhile, if the dismantling of the valve can only be carried out at a high cost. The cost for dismantling and reassembling large valves can exceed in some cases the cost of repairs itself.

Major repairs of valves are carried out in our works, i.e. at BOMAFA. First the respective valve is dismantled in its component parts and a detailed and exact report is prepared. The report is sent to the customer with the repair recommendations as well as the statement of cost.. The repair will only be carried out after agreement with and within a period agreed by the customer and BOMAFA.
