Welcome back, Robert!

He stood in front of us and everyone was emotional.

Robert was one of our top fitters for years. He was one of the faces who made the BOMAFA logo a brand with our local customers. With his personality, with his reliability and simply with his good work. We have already reported on a thank-you email from customers in which there was a lot of praise for Robert.

Then, about 1.5 years ago, something happened that HR managers are always a little nervous about. A company from the energy industry poached him. Robert wanted to see a good career opportunity in it and followed the call.

Letting him go at that time was not easy, but there was no alternative. We want to promote and support the careers of our employees. Even if that means letting them go if we can't offer what they want and hope for.

For us, letting go means saying goodbye with a big thank you.

As the saying goes: Travelers should not be stopped. We live that, certainly also out of the conviction that we always see each other again. During his time away, we continued to stay in friendly contact, without trying to persuade him to come back. 

Now he is standing in front of us again – of his own free will. After this relatively short time, we are very happy that Robert will be part of the team again. Today certainly an even firmer one. There was no hesitation – we still know what we have in him and welcome him warmly. The emotions of this day had several dimensions. Yes, it is good if we can convince in direct comparison with other companies on the job market. For the BOMAFA colleagues, this is a nice compliment. We are proud of that, without question. It also shows that our corporate culture is lived and can prevail over other temptations.
