During his training as an industrial clerk at BOMAFA, Mr. Caspari was able to gain insight into the business of our Indian subsidiary, BOMAFA India.
The most recent project that was successfully realized in cooperation with Bomafa India, was the 2x 800 MW Telangana project for the largest Indian power plant equipment manufacturer at the end of 2019. In this project we were able to achieve commercial and service advantage to our end customer while maintaining the same quality standards. With help of these improvement strategies, further projects in 2021 can be efficiently managed.
In the period from February 24 to March 5, he travelled to India to work with our Indian colleagues at our company site in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The goal of this business trip was on firstly to make the project planning process more efficient between the joint projects of Germany and India and secondly to plan and develop a brand new website for BOMAFA India.
During the first week of the trip, Mr. Caspari was able to gain a deep insight into the unfamiliar yet interesting way of working together with Indian colleagues. In collaboration with Mr. Anklesaria, project planning employee of about the same age, it was possible to adapt the technical and commerical offer structure of the competence achieved in the 100 years of BOMAFA company‘s history. During evenings, the working days were brought to a successful end with delicious meals and nice conversations.
In the second week, the focus was on website creation. Here, the know-how of the website created in Germany in Autumn-2019 was taken into consideration. One major part of this work was the formulation of the text in website in close cooperation with the two managing directors of Germany and India, in a manner to suit the Indian market.
In between his trip, Mr. Caspari flew together with Mr. Pol to Mumbai for a short leisure trip. He spent the weekend with Mr. Pol's family, he was able to relax well and he is feeling greatful for their hospitality and delicious food.
Overall, the trip was a complete success! Both for our trainee and BOMAFA India. As always, we will keep you up to date with the latest events from our company.
